Usage

When and How to Use

How to prepare your shaker?

Start by pouring 200 ml of liquid (water, milk, plant-based milk, or a blend to your taste) into your protein shaker. Then add one serving (40g) using the measuring scoop or 4 tablespoons.

Close the shaker and shake it up and down several times. Finish with a few slow circular movements to bring everything together evenly.

About foam: These formulas contain no lecithin or any other anti-foaming agent. A thin layer of foam may therefore form after shaking. This is a natural phenomenon, and a sign of undenatured, high-purity protein. It disappears on its own within a few minutes. Tip: in warm weather, store your pouch in a cool place (a cellar or the fridge) to keep this to a minimum.

When to take your whey protein?

After training : This is the key moment. Your muscle fibres have been put to work and your glycogen stores have been drawn upon. A intake of protein and carbohydrates in the minutes following exercise optimises the recovery window. The classic range, with its whole cane sugar, delivers this protein + carbohydrate combination in a single serving.

At breakfast : To break your overnight fast, support satiety, and start the day with a supply of essential amino acids.

As a snack : Between meals, to top up your daily protein intake without weighing down your plate.

Before bed : Whey contains tryptophan, an amino acid that is a precursor to melatonin. In this case, opt for the no added sugars range to avoid any blood sugar spike that could disrupt the onset of sleep.

More than just a shaker

Protealpes whey also lends itself to cooking: pancakes, cakes, porridges, smoothies, and many other recipes. Because these formulas are free from additives and sweeteners, they can be heated without any risk of releasing unwanted compounds, unlike proteins containing sucralose or other artificial sweeteners.

For Whom
